Big shout out to Richard Smith on being awarded the Sovereign’s Medal! Richard brings absolute professionalism and years of field knowledge learned the hard way, by doing. He and others wrote the book on SAR. We are so very fortunate to have one of the greatest Search and Rescue resources here in Alberta. Bravo Zulu for keeping the right, so others may live.
