The Canadian Search Dog Association will only respond to a search when requested and cleared to do so by a Canadian law enforcement agency.
If you believe a search is required, please notify the Police that there is a lost, missing, or overdue person. They have the mandate to conduct search and rescue operations in their jurisdiction.
The CSDA will work free of charge for any Policing agency. The agency can contact the Canadian Search Dog Association 24/7 at:
EMERGENCY CONTACT NUMBER (LAW ENFORCEMENT USE ONLY)
1-855-288-CSDA (2732)
Note: Incoming calls are answered by the STARS (Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society) ‘Emergency Link Centre’ and then connected to the appropriate CSDA Search Manager.
